Dental Sleep Medicine
“Sleep, when the body and mind are at rest, is a time to rejuvenate the body and organize the mind.”
Based on current research publications, the number of people in the US suffering from sleep apnea is close to 20 million.
Cosmetic/Aesthetic Dentistry
Our goal is for you to be proud of your teeth and show off your smile. To that end, we exclusively use cutting-edge, tooth colored, white composite resin as the material of choice for your fillings. It is almost indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns are used to restore the shape and color of your teeth. They are fabricated with one concept in mind, to match your adjacent teeth in shape, color, and fit. We support our local economy and have most of your crowns and veneers made locally by an amazing artist/technician down the street from our office.
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD)
The temporomandibular joint connects your jaw to your skull. TMD is a condition that causes pain in your jaw. Dr. Keller has procedures that can help with TMD pain. Dr. Keller earned a Master of Science Degree focusing on TMJ, sleep, and orofacial from USC and is now an assistant professor in the TMJ facial pain department.

Dental Implants
Dental Implants are an outstanding treatment when one or more teeth are missing. The success rates, over the long term, are approaching 100%, as reported by many prominent researchers. Many insurance plans are realizing this and are in the process of incorporating implants in their coverage.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Crowns are naturally looking full coverage of a tooth that has had decay, fracture, old/broken fillings and in need to restore the function and appearance of the tooth.
RCT (Root Canal Therapy)
Root canals are tiny passageways that branch off from beneath the top of the tooth, coursing their way vertically downward, until they reach the tip of the root.
Teeth Sensitivity
Teeth sensitivity to temperature change (hot or cold) is very common. We offer multiple solutions.
Topical fluoride foam may be applied biannually which bonds with the enamel and leaves the tooth less sensitive.
Topical resin liquid bonds to the tooth and seals the nerve endings.
The dental laser is also available at our dental office to desensitize the nerve endings. This is extremely effective in treating sensitive teeth.
Teeth Cleaning (Regular/Deep)
The health of our mouth directly impacts our overall health. Poor oral hygiene allows for bacteria to accumulate in the gums and eventually enter the blood stream. They travel to other parts of our body and can negatively affect our health.
With that in mind, we recommend a comprehensive evaluation to go over your current health status and create a plan of action if desired. Read More
Painless Dentistry
Our goal is to provide you with a positive experience at our Simi Valley dental office. To this end, we ensure that you are comfortable throughout your visit.
We strive to make your numbing experience comfortable and pleasant. We utilize special techniques so that your numbing experience is undetected. Topical numbing gel is applied to the area prior, to get the gums numb. We always take our time to confirm that you are completely numb before starting treatment.
Laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is offered at our office as well as IV sedation. IV Sedation allows you to be asleep during the procedure and at the completion you feel well rested and relaxed.
Utilizing our state-of-the-art dental laser often eliminates the need for numbing completely as the laser desensitizes the nerve endings in the tooth, leaving them numb without the need to numb the area.
OraVerse is now available! Before the end of your appointment, Oraverse can be applied to reduce the time you stay numb after completion of your appointment.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening will significantly brighten your smile
Teeth should be cleaned prior to the whitening so it is uniform and the gums around the teeth appear healthy as well.
We utilize zoom technology in our office. The light enhances the whitening process and maximizes the results.
Dental Laser
We are fortunate to be able to offer our patients this cutting-edge amazing technology, the Biolase MD, a dental laser. One of the highlights of this technology is the ability to perform most dental procedures without the need to get numb. This is due to the light technology which desensitizes the tooth and calms the nerve.
For most procedures, we can eliminate the use of the louder traditional dental drill.
The laser hand piece can differentiate between healthy and unhealthy tooth structure and remove exclusively the unhealthy portion. This allows you to retain as much tooth as possible.
Taking advantage of this technology will make your tooth healthier and increase the longevity of your restorations. The light emitted from the laser will kill the micro-organisms (Bacteria, Viruses, and Fungus) and prevent potential cavities/decay in the future. This benefit effects the gums by disinfecting the gums with the laser which eliminates bacteria that are lodged in the gums around the teeth. The result is reattachment of the gums and a healthier mouth.
Comprehensive and Periodic Exams
Comprehensive oral exams based on current scientific evidence is the only way to ensure oral health and early detection. An in-depth review of your health state, medications, allergies, sleep, and nutrition will be examined. Your vital signs will be taken and recorded, as well as a thorough cancer survey, all to provide a unique, comprehensive oral health evaluation.
Extraction
There are several reasons why someone might need an extraction
The first would be if your tooth is impacted. This means that the tooth does not break through the gums. This may be because there is not enough room in your mouth, or because teeth may become twisted while trying to emerge.
Another reasons why a dentist might suggest an extraction is when teeth cannot be repaired due to damage, disease, or decay. When disease or decay occur it can cause the teeth to lose support therefore breaking easier.
If a dentist determines that there is not enough room for all the teeth, especially when preparing for orthodontic treatment, they may suggest an extraction as well.
Dentures
Dentures are just one option. Many patients choose dentures because they can be made fairly quickly. They can be created in just a few weeks, so you can get them soon after your appointment. Dentures also make it easier to eat and talk normally, therefore increasing your confidence. Dentures can last for five to ten years. With the technology we have today, dentures can look completely natural, so others may not even notice!
In the long run, dentures can be a great benefit to you and your health! They will provide you with the ability to enjoy you life normally and give you the confidence to smile and laugh, just like you did before!
